He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Schaffer and Mary Schaffer (Welsh); his wife Carol Yank; his children, Lori Cooke (Jim), Scott (Heather) and Cari Sindelar (Gordon); his grandchildren, Jim, Mike, Sara Cooke, Kayla, Addison, Taylor Schaffer, Grace and Henry Sindelar; and his siblings, Rosemary LaCivita (Rich) and Bill Schaffer (Gerry). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
