She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Gilbertsen and Charlotte Gilbertsen; her husband Joseph F.; her sisters, Helen Lavin and Marilyn Siwak (John); her niece Maureen Sapinski; and her brother-in-law Harold Wendt.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret A. Hewell III (Todd), Joseph L. (Tina) and Kurt; her grandchildren, Kristen Anderson (Kurt), Lauren Fischer (Josef) and Todd Hewell IV; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Henry and Margaret Anderson; her sister Bernadine Wendt; and her brother-in-law Marshall Lavin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
