She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Zollicoffer and Beulah Zollicoffer; and her husband Melvin Nickens. She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Antje Nickens) and Greg Nickens; and her grandchildren, Keyomo Smith, Candice Taylor, Nakia Tetter, Matthew Nickens, Mackenzie Nickens, Mila Nickens and Niels Nickens. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
