He was predeceased by: his parents, Broer Mollema and Tryntje "Tina" Jellema Mollema; and his sister Jane VanDerVliet. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Mollema of St. Anne, IL; his daughter Melissa Mollema-Pasel of St. Anne, IL.; his siblings, Christina Shults (Keith) of Lewisburg, TN. and Jack Mollema (Linda) of St. Anne, IL.; and his granddaughter Aynslee Pasel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the education fund of his granddaughter; Aynslee Pasel.
