He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Duby and Liza Boudreau Duby; his son Donald Duby Jr.; and his siblings, Chester Duby, Edgar Duby, Melvin Duby, Blanche Duby, Esther Boone and Lenore Pallissard.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Duby of St. Anne; his daughter Lana Coppotelli; his son-in-law Marshall Coppotelli; his sons, Don Duby and Darrel Duby; and his daughter-in-law Kelly Duby.
