With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol J. Hoekstra of Saint Anne, Illinois, born in Watseka, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Hofer and Agnes Hofer (Lauterbach); and her sister Arlene Dams. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Hoekstra of St. Anne; her daughters, Debra Collings (Kim) of Bee Branch, AR, Rhonda Turner (Cary) of Mackinaw, IL, Karen Wielgus (Ed) of St. Anne and Paula Baranowski (Mike) of St. Anne; and her sister Paulette Hartley (William) of Eddyville, IL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
