He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Hunger and Angelika Schippelbein Hunger; and his siblings, John Hunger and Mary Beratz. He is survived by: his sons, Phil Hunger of Chicago and Erik Hunger of Schaumburg; his siblings, Frieda Chamness of Bourbonnais, Robert "Bob" Hunger of Bourbonnais and Gary (Kathy Hunger); and his close friend Sandy Malmer of Bradley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
