It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Faye Brown (Roxana, Illinois), born in Winchester, Illinois, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett A. Steelman and Janice Steelman (Redden); her husband Robert N. Brown; her grandchildren, Zachary Crews and Ashley Brown; and her brothers, Richard "Dick" Steelman and Everett L. "Bud" Steelman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Brown (Gina) of East Alton, James Brown (Kelli) of Bethalto, Kathleen Crews (Greg) of Bethalto, Jack Brown (LaDonna) of Bunker Hill and Charles Brown (Sarah) of Bethalto; her grandchildren, Bobbie Schlemer, Brandie Brown, Joshua Brown, Jordan Brown, Chris Brown, Tanner Brown, Jessica Springer, Jake Crews, Justin Brown, Gage Brown and Eli Brown; and her sister-in-law Cynthia Steelman. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
