He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Boen and Amy Boen (Roe); his wife Tammy Swartz; his sons, Steve Boen (Heather) of Westville, IL and Chris Boen (Kristin) of Rossville, IL; his sister Christina Boen of Alvin, IL; his granddaughter Hadley Rae Boen; his nieces, Nickole Swartz and Angie Strawser; and his nephew Robert Tubbs.
