He was predeceased by: his parents, Sewell Sanders and Freida Sanders (Steele); his daughter Sherrey Sanders; and his grandson Billy Ward. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Lee McAllister; his children, Shelley Potter (John) of Anderson, IN and Terry Wayne Ward of Jasonville, IN; his sister Patricia Covey (Ken) of Hartford City, IN; his grandchildren, Jacob Potter (Ivy), Jesse Potter (Emily), Eric Potter, Lucas Bennett (Gina), Zachary Bennett (Jessi) and Joseph Bennett; and his great grandchildren, Wade Potter, Oakleigh Potter, Cassidy, Ethan, Damien Allison, Payton Bennett, Meadow Milburn, Kasen and Branton Ward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
