He is survived by: his wife Xiuling Peng; his children, Collin Michael, Erik Michael, JoAnne Mehalic (Stevie) and Arielle Michael (Jacob); his stepdaughter Se Ye "Carol"; his grandchild Ayden Charles Stoddard; and his siblings, Pamela Anne Michael, Tom Owen Michael (Kim Bierbaum), Scott Franklin and Christopher Stevens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
