She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Southworth and Arlyn Southworth; and her brother Ron Southworth. She is survived by: her husband Joel Montoya; her sons, Joel Montoya II (Lisa), Joshua Montoya (Catherine) and Jacob Montoya (Sarah); her grandchildren, Amanda Montoya, Andrea Montoya, Joel Montoya III, Hannah Montoya, Allison Montoya, Hayley Montoya, Samara Montoya, Maxton Montoya, Javen Montoya, Alexis Montoya, Sophia Montoya and Savannah Montoya; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Montoya, Emmanuel Cooper, Ellison Cooper and Keith Anthony III; and her brothers, Jay Southworth and Shawn Southworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Sandra's name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the American Cancer Society.
