He was predeceased by: his mother Palma Butts (Pagniano); and his brother Tom Butts. He is survived by: his father Allen Butts; his wife Dana; his sons, Timothy Butts (Rachel), Kyle Butts (Molly) and Nathan Butts (Erika); his grandchildren, Owen, Abby, Halle and Levi; and his brother Steve Butts (Jill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Winnebago County Pheasants Forever. Donations will support their Youth Mentor Hunting Program to support Mike's passion for preserving the future of hunting and conservation.
