We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2022, at the age of 78, Dorothy I. Whitley of Roscoe, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilding Benson and Elaine Benson. She is survived by: her husband James E. Whitley; her children, James K. Whitley (Janet), Jodi A. Phillips (Bob) and Jennifer R. Lewandowski (Tom); her grandchildren, Ashley Fanning (Brett), Bobby Phillips (Lindsay), Brianna Henthorn, Brittany Hemerley (Tommy), Zach Phillips, Taylor Lewandowski, Tristan Lewandowski (Julia) and Joshua Stook; her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Noah Hemerley; and her siblings, Kathy Precoda, Janet Groth-Schembara, Robbin Daughenbaugh (Dana) and Donald Benson.
