He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert F. Porod and Helen Porod (Hourihan); his aunt Catherine Hourihan; his wife Mary; his son-in-law Tom Connolly; and his sister Cathy Schwier.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Porod, Susan Reeverts (Steve), Ann Connolly, Catherine Porod August (Alan), Amy Christen (Kent) and Patricia Olson (Mark); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Connolly, Benjamin Connolly, Phelan Christen, Gabriel Christen, Kelsey Olson and Kyley Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Anne Center, Rock Valley College for the Porod Family Scholarship Fund, or a charity of your choice.
