He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose McDaniel and Henry Johnson; and his siblings, Joanne Johnson, Sylvia Gary, Charlotte Crecy, Florence Johnson, Felton Johnson, Francis Johnson (Steve Johnson) and Walter Gary (George Gary).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Johnson; his children, Crystal Johnson, Chyrie Prunty-Johnson, Aniyah Williams-Johnson, Terrance Cooper-Johnson and Derrick Brown Jackson; his grandchildren, Tracy Brown and Scotty Lewis; and his siblings, Minnie Johnson, Marion Walker (Robert), Rose Gary, Vicky Crecy and Pierre Crecy. He is also survived by great great grandchildren; special family friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Center Church (4721 S Main St, Rockford, IL 61102). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
