She was predeceased by: her parents, Verner Nelson and Mary Nelson (Powilaites); her husband Dennis Carlson; her aunt Linnea Brown; and her uncle Henry Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Carlson and Lori Pennington (Tim); her siblings, Dennis Nelson and Diana Perkins; her grandchildren, Austin and Lindsay Pennington; and her great grandchild Aiden Pennington. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
