He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Joyce Fryer and Walter Jackson; his brother Lamont Jackson; and his nephew Christopher Fryer. He is survived by: his son Demicheal Foat; his granddaughter Miajha Foat; his siblings, Michelle Jackson, Ronnie Jackson, Mike Jones (Jeannie) and Timothy Jackson; his stepmother Carolyn Jackson; his nieces, Dominique Jackson, Natasha Chandler, LaTika and Alisha White; his nephew Terrence Caviness; and his close friend Carolyn Cooper. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
