He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jr. Richards and Elizabeth Richards; his brother Frank Richards III; and his close friends, James Rennick and Henry McIntosh.
He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Richards (Ron McQuay); his grandson Matthew Ingram of Atlanta; his sister Michele Caldwell; his nephew Frank Richards, IV (Kim); his nieces, Leah Williams and Chereese Richards-Brown; his great-aunt Nona Ford; and his nephews, Lonnie Lambert and Charles Doby. He is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews and 23 great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church (2919 19th St, Rockford, IL 61109).
