It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Hendrickson of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hendrickson and Evelyn Hendrickson (Shaw); his wife Wanda Ludwig; his siblings, Dale Hendrickson (Amy) and Bonnie Stremmel (Bob); and his brother-in-law Don Fromkin (Julia).
He is survived by: his children, Susan Morris of Rockford, IL, Douglas Hendrickson (Judy) of Dekalb, IL, Karen Leitzinger (Arnie) of Algoma, WI and Jeffery Hendrickson (Amy) of Byron, IL; his granddaughters, Crystal, LeAnna and Micaela Mckenzie; his great grandchildren, Giana and Remi; his stepgreat-granddaughter Chelsea; his great great grandchild Forrest; his sister Juila Fromkin; and his brother-in-law Hiram Ludwig Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are established in his name and may be directed to the Stillman Valley Fire Protection District.
