He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cumby and Rosa Bell Cumby (Inman); his former wife Bonnie Grubs; and his siblings, Tom, Bill, Don, John Cumby, Ethel Howard and Ida Abell.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Thompson; and his sons, Frank Cumby of Springfield, MO and James Cumby Jr. (Raquel) of Norwood, MO. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing requirement will be in effect to allow 50 person at a time to attend the visitation Monday September 14, 2020 9:30 – 10:30 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
