He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen C. Petry and Helen M. Petry (Harms). He is survived by: his wife Cindy Louise Saunders of Rochelle; his children, Teresa Petry of Rochelle and Erik Petry of Rochelle; his brother Larry Petry (Linda) of Belvidere; and his granddaughters, Emily Jahnke, Molly, Nora, Eliza Petry and Caroline Petry-Tracey (Austin).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Terry's memory in honor of his wife, Cindy, to the Alzheimer's Association.
