She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ravnaas and Ruth E. Ravnaas (Barnett) of Steward, IL.; her siblings, Marjorie Eiselstein, Ruth Totten, Shirley Kersten, Phyllis Jones and Martin Ravnaas (Wayne); and her daughter Kathy.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne G. Kersten; her daughters, Janet Stewart (Dennis) of Rochelle, Donna Kersten (Ric Chandler) of Rochelle and Sara Macklin (Greg) of Oregon, IL; her grandchildren, Sheila Kersten Dewey, Ryan Stewart (Ashley), Kelly McKenzie (Shawn), Matthew Macklin (Jaclyn), Kyle Macklin (Markee) and Jason Macklin (Justine); and her caregivers, Judy, Marie, Robin, Sue and Bev. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rochelle United Methodist Church, to Joy in the Harvest (Christian missionary-Tanzania, see http://www.joyintheharvest.com), or Serenity Hospice and Home.
