It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Overby (Rochelle, Illinois), who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Overby and Leta Overby (Fleenor); his wife Marilyn Meier; his daughters, Liz Overby (Chad Sarver) and Katie Peterson (Steven); his grandchildren, Lexi Sarver, Logan, Allie and Carly Peterson; and his siblings, Phyllis Jones, Anita Rogers and Brian Overby (Shinobu).

Memorials may be made in Richard's memory to the First Presbyterian Church.
