She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil O. Fisher and Vera L. Fisher (Stevens); her husband Lloyd Phillips; her daughter Janet Freeman; her grandson Broc Mohler; and her stepson-in-law Jerry Kersten.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Rainwater (Ray) of Rochelle, Alan Behrends (Sue Mohler) of Rochelle and Gail Myers (Jeff) of Rochelle; her stepchildren, Lynn Kersten, Ann Page (Dewight) and Alan Phillips (Wendy); her son-in-law Ron Freeman of Dixon, IL; her grandchildren, Jason Freeman (Monica), Jeff Rainwater, Jill O'Brien (Troy), Jesse Myers (Skylar), Kelsey Schmitz (Dylan), Tiffany Adamson (Todd), Brittany Mohler (Max) and Natasha Mohler (Josh); her great grandchildren, Dakotah Freeman, Delaney Freeman, Mackenzie Joy Freeman, Tucker O'Brien, Jake O'Brien, William O'Brien, Cael Plemmons, Kayden, Khloe Cook, Libby and Lettie Myers; her great great grandchildren, Maverick Benton and Remington Black; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hintzsche of Rochelle and Donna Fisher of Ohio; and her close friend Gussy Ennen. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made in Joy's memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Serenity Hospice and Home.
