It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Stocking (Rochelle, Illinois), who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Stocking and Lillian Stocking (Lovig); his grandparents, George, Emily Stocking (Manger), John and Louisa Lovig (Erickson); his siblings, Clair Jr., David Lynn, George Robert Stocking, Gladys Mildred (Wayne Bogle) and Mary Louise (Leonard Mars); his nephews, Jeffrey, Gary and Bruce Bogle; and his great-nephew Jamie Coulter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Lockard of Creston and Lee Stocking (Pat) of Mendota, IL; and his godson Jonathan William Clair Coulter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
