He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sanders and Lela Sanders (Pickreign); his son Terry Sanders; his siblings, Arthur Sanders and Beatrice Zuercher; his grandson Bradley Sanders; and his nephew Joshua Range.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Rochelle; his children, Gary Sanders of Rock Falls, Karen Sanders of Rochelle and Jeremy Sanders (Debra) of DeKalb; his grandchildren, April Wade (Zach) of Sterling, Nicole Sanders of Columbus, OH, Amy Sanders of Rock Falls, Gary Lee Sanders of Dixon, Quintin Sanders of Rochelle, Brooke Lindsey, Cassandra Lindsey of Rochelle, Bella Carney of DeKalb and Aiden Sanders of DeKalb; and his sisters, Diana Kostereva of Peshtigo, WI and Alice Borkowski of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
