She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Johnsen and Ruth Johnsen (Reinking); and her spouse Jerry L. Ekes. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Ekes of Hillcrest, IL and Kristina Ekes (Alan Day) of Waterman, IL; her siblings, David Johnsen (Shelley) of Arizona, Steve Johnsen (Karen) of Illinois, Lynn Mueller of Wisconsin and Nancy Newell (Steve) of Illinois; and her grandchildren, Arthur Wilson, Evie and Declan Pasetti.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice and Home, or the Vince Carney Community Theater.
