He is survived by: his mother Sara Ruiz Meraz; his children, Ivan Meraz (Nichole) of Davis Junction, Andres Sarinana (Jennifer) of Portales, Sarahi Sarinana of Portales and Perla Janet Sarinana of Odessa, TX; his grandchildren, JaeLeigh Meraz (Bazil Bennett), Zavier Meraz and Zacarias Meraz; his sisters, Rosa Caldera (Fernando) of Rochelle, Angelica Sarinana (Pedro) of Rockford, Maribel Sarinana (Juan) of Mexico and Marta Meraz of Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Valdivia of Rochelle, Abel Caldera (Ana) of Rockford, German Caldera of Pittsburgh, PA, Limny Suarez and Abdisay Suarez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
