He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Young and Dorothy M. Young (Coldiron). He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Lynn (Matthew Yankauskas), Shawna Sue (Mark Smith) and Tina Young; his granddaughter Jessica Smith; his brother Chuck; his sister-in-law Karen Young of West Union, IL; his nephew-in-law Alex Stout of Vienna, IL; and his great-nephews, Oliver, Lane, Tucker Stout and Byrl Wayne "Shotgun" Mehler.
