He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Heiny and Esther [Conwell] Heiny; his former wife Unabelle; his stepfather Russell Owen; and his brother-in-law Max Green.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his stepsons, Scott Dean (Lynda) and Eric Dean (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Hannah, Scotty, Hailey, Aaron, Isaac, Emma and Anna; and his siblings, Saundra Green of Lafayette, IN, Judy Sheridan (Ron) of Carmel, IN and Bob Heiny (Lori) of Cedar Lake, IN.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
