She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Blankenbeker and Cora Blankenbeker (Chapman); her husband Joseph C. "Joe" Smitley; her son Robert Smitley; her brothers, James and Ralph Blankenbeker; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Blankenbeker, Nina Blankenbeker and Richard "Dick" Parcel.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Jeanie Smitley) and Brent (Diana Smitley); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jon Strader, Beth, Jon Nelson of Charleston, IL, Angela, Tom Pfeifer of Oblong, IL, Brian and Crystal Smitley of Robinson, IL; her great grandchildren, Will, Wade, Wyatt, Ellie Strader, Jack, Luke, Levi Nelson, Joseph Pfeifer and Skylar Maus; her great great grandchild Acen Rankin; her daughter-in-law Rose Carson; and her siblings, Marilyn Parcel of Peoria, IL and Winfred Blankenbeker of Willow Hill, IL..
