She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney and Minnie (Thulean); her daughter Charlotte Gibson; and her siblings, Arva Mead, Ruth Mead, David "Bliss" Phillips and Richard "Dick" Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Austin; her granddaughter Chandra Freeland (Ben) of Creedmoor, NC; her great grandchildren, Brett and Cole Freeland; and her nephew Kenneth "Sam" Mead of Princeton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Evangelical Covenant Church, Princeton, IL.
