It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Dawson of Princeton, Illinois, born in Galva, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Steagall and Mabel Steagall (Heflen); her former husband James "Bud" Roberts (Bud); her husband Warren "Weedo" Dawson; her grandchildren, Amy Roberts Holler and Aaron Porter; her great grandchild Zoe Porter; her half-sisters, Lucille and Florence; and her siblings, David, Gerald, Harriett and Doris.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Roberts (Diana Renner) of Lancaster, PA, Kay Fulkerson (Gary) of Jacksonville, IL, Patti Ann Moynihan (Sean) of Princeton, IL, Daniel Roberts (Cindy) of Kewanee, IL, Susan Johnson (Robert) of Princeton, IL and Judi Torricelli (Richard) of Fort Myers, FL; her grandchildren, David Roberts, Greg Fulkerson, Debbie Hetzel, Tammy Mellor, Doug Fulkerson, Kyle Johnson, Evan Johnson, Amy Burgard, Michelle Burton and Jessica Torricelli; her great grandchildren, Allie Holler, John Holler, Samantha Hillman, Michael Hetzel, Lydia Mellor, Paul Mellor, Layla Fulkerson, Audrey Fulkerson, Eric Fulkerson, Anya Porter, Ardyn Johnson, Marek Johnson, Ewyn Johnson, Zack Burgard, Olivia Burgard and Max Burgard; and her great great grandchildren, McKenzie McMenamin, Alexis McMenamin and Hailey McMenamin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family for charitable distribution.
