She was predeceased by: her parents, Heroshi Kanazawa and Yoshiko Kanazawa; and her husband Neil "Bud" Scherer. She is survived by: her children, Linda Perkins (Tony) and Donald Johnson of Princeton, IL; and her stepchildren, Vicki Mair (Richard) of Princeton, IL, Keith Scherer (Cherie Martin) of Princeton and Darryl Scherer (Donna) of Maryville, TN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Princeton, IL or Harbor Light Hospice, 3000 N. Main, Unit C, East Peoria, IL 61611.
