He was predeceased by: his wife Colleen Marquis (Martin); his parents, Tann Marquis and Lulu Marquis; and his siblings, Marie Yoder (Marquis), Carl Marquis, Dorothy Flint (Marquis), Wilma Ulrich (Marquis), Kenneth Marquis and Donald "Bo" Marquis.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Throneburg (Dennis Throneburg) and Darrell "Mark" Marquis; his siblings, Loretta McKay (Marquis) and Beverly Danielson (Marquis); and his grandsons, Josh, Marcus Throneburg, Dustin and Jason Marquis.
