She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Marlette; her sons, Robert "Bobby" Slecka and Louie Slecka; her granddaughter Abigail Slecka; and her siblings, Patsy Naler, Bill, Louie, Donald, Bud, Tommy and Larry Marlette.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Slecka (Lori) of Wood River, IL, Jon Slecka (Darla) of Granite City, IL and Vincent Slecka of Pontoon Beach; and her sister Laverne Hammond of Granite City. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
