He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lonnie and Freda P. Foraker Keefer; his siblings, Steven Keefer and Suzanne Wagner; and his daughter-in-law Cassandra Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, James Gilbert of Pleasant Hill, Lonnie Keefer of Nebo and Carmen Bartlett of Dow; his grandchildren, Steven Keefer, Kelsey Bartlett, Gavin Gilbert and Skyler Moore; and his siblings, Ed Keefer of Shelbyville and Juanita Darr of Kane. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
