It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Scranton of Pleasant Hill, Illinois, born in Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Scranton and Martha M. Rowley Scranton; his brother Clarence; his sister-in-law Peggy Scranton; and his parents-in-law, Wayne Fesler and June Forgy.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie L. Scranton of Pleasant Hill; his children, Shana Scranton of Pittsfield and Derek Scranton (Tiffany) of Batavia; his grandchildren, Lucy, Will Scranton, Samantha and Nicholas Black; his brother-in-law David Fesler (Janet) of Camp Point; his nephew Jack Scranton of Nebo; and his nieces, Diana Sealock (Larry) of Nebo and Sherry Benjamin of Pittsfield. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Kepley House in Pittsfield or to the Crescent Heights Cemetery Association.
