It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence C. Scranton (Pleasant Hill, Illinois), who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha M. Rowley Scranton and David Scranton; and his wife Peggy Jo Scranton. He is survived by: his children, Jack C. Scranton of Nebo, Diana Sealock (Larry) of Nebo and Sherry Benjamin of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Jaime Sealock, Julie Sealock, David Sealock (Morgan), Amanda McDonald (Josh) and Justin Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Miles and Eli McDonald; his brother Gene Scranton (Vickie) of Pleasant Hill; and his brother-in-law Lee Hannel (Lil) of Pleasant Hill. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Spring Creek Fire Department or to the Nebo Cemetery.
