He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hammitt and Shirley Hammitt; and his brother George Hammitt. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Gunder (Chris) of Pittsfield, IL, Kayla Hill (Matt) of Carrollton, IL and Amanda Bunn of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Dakota, Dalton, Braelyn, Tyler, Lucas, Brooklyn and Savannah; and his sisters, Neta Lennon (Paul) of Pittsfield, IL and Zoe McDonald (Jan) of Rock Island, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
