He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Browning and Elma Howell Browning; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Velma Ballard; his granddaughter Kaylynn Browning; his children-in-law, Susan Browning and Roger Coultas; his granddaughter-in-law Robyn Smith; and his sisters, Evelyn Davis (Cleo) and Ruth Roosa (Howard).

He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Browning; and his children, Robert Browning (Cari), Vivian Smith (Roger) of Perry, IL, Winifred Goodman (Roger) of O'Fallon, IL, Jane Coleman (Steve) of Glasford, IL, Judy Douglas (Dennis) of Pittsfield, IL and Mary Coultas of Pittsfield, IL. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many in-laws.
