It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville R. Gleckler (Pittsfield, Illinois), who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Gleckler and Opal Gleckler; his wife Anita Dickerson; his daughter Patricia Gleckler; his granddaughter Heidi Thomas; his great grandchild Nolan Brown; and his siblings, Winfred Gleckler (Dorothy), Charles Gleckler (Vada), Ester Kirk (Joe), Mabel Wombles (Guy) and Doris Ellis (Wayne).
He is survived by: his children, Charles Gleckler (Paula) of Council Bluff, IA, Dr. Mary Barnes (Richard) of Lander, WY and Judith Conway (Patrick) of Pittsfield, IL; his grandchildren, Chad Gleckler (Kelli) of Elkhorn, NE, Nathan Barnes (Lindsey) of Lander, WY, Dr. Miranda Barnes Edwards (Kevin) of Grand Junction, CO, Daniel Barnes (Katrina) of Lander, WY, Cameo McLane (James) of Greenville, NC, Cassie Barnes of Lander, WY, Shannon Thomas of Pittsfield, IL, Shawn Thomas (Melissa) of Whitesboro, TX, Saschel "Sassy" Thomas of New Holland, PA, Cayla Brown (Justin) of Denton, TX, Ashlee Conway of Pittsfield, IL, Morgan Conway of Pittsfield, IL, Brooke Hotz of Omaha, NE and Adam Hotz of Council Bluffs, IA; and his great grandchildren, Addyson Gleckler, Halle Gleckler, Russel Barnes, Wyatt Barnes, Alixandria Barnes, Destiney Holden Barnes, Kaydence Thomas, Aubree Thomas, Vivienne Anita Brown, Elizabeth Edwards, Adeline Edwards and Cullen McLane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
