Lela Mae Morris Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Mae Morris of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Capps and Marguerite Belford Capps; her husband Bill Morris; her son David Lacy; her stepson Charlie Morris; her brother Glenn Capps; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Marksbury, Ermadel Capps and Mary Catherine Capps.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Lacy (Joanne) of Pittsfield, IL and Ann Ackerman (Bob) of Canton, IL; her stepchildren, Greg Morris of Chapin, IL and Barbara Stock of Wood River, IL; her grandchildren, Kristin Kohlrus (Joe), David Michael Lacy (Kelly), Ellen Shoedel, Elizabeth Siders (Justin), Jim Miley, Craig Lacy (Rachel), David Leavell (Sara), Carlo Bruno (Betsy), Michael Lacy (Lexie) and Judd McCullum (Carly Kirven); and her siblings, Robert Capps of Pittsfield, IL, Harold Capps of Pittsfield, IL, Donna Hall (Wendall) of Pittsfield, IL and Pat Marksbury of Moline, IL.. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
