Lauren E. Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lauren E. Brown (Pittsfield, Illinois), born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julieanne Evelyn (Klatt) and Winston Deever Brown; and his sister Barbara Ann Finlayson. He is survived by: his wife Jill Rae Hollingshead; his children, Lara Nell Brown, Kara Anne Nash and Evan Brown (Lisa); his grandchildren, Savannah Schipper, Dawson Nash (Ali), Frederick, MD, Sierra Nash and Erin Brown; his great grandchild Luna Schipper; his brother Winston Brown (Carol); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Brown, Andrew Brown, Rebecca Scott Finlayson and Heather Ann Finlayson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ISU Foundation for the School of Biological Sciences Fund (in memo, please write 'in memory of Dr. Lauren Brown'), to be utilized for Cheung, Brown, Phi Sigma Award for Student Publications or Zoology Department; donations may be mailed to ISU Foundation, Campus Box 8000, Normal, IL 61761.
