She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Mitchell and Mabel Mitchell (Sharrow); her son Dennis Paul Ellis; her brother Kenneth; and her husbands, John Ellis (Jay) of Pittsfield, Marvin Rakes and Duane McNeil.
She is survived by: her son Richard L. Ellis; her brother Carrol Mitchell (Barbara); her grandchildren, Denise Merschman, Tiffany Ellis, Rachel, Angela and John Mitchell Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, Alexis and MacKenzie.
