We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022, at the age of 73, Gary W. Hittner of Pittsfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hittner and Margaret Newman Hittner; his siblings, Linda Yokem, Judy Harter, Darrel Hittner and John Charles Hittner; and his nephew Kevin Hittner.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Hittner; his sister Joanna Engelmann (Fred) of Baylis, IL; his mother-in-law Nancy Dwinnells of Pittsfield, IL; his sister-in-law Marcia McGuire of Maysville, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Brett Yokem, Brenda Jones, Debbie Timbrook, Dick Guthrie, Joely Rightnowar, Chevi Koeller, Lori Schile, Kent Harter, Jody Brite, Clint Hittner, Camilla Teel, Lisa Wade, Julie Scandalis, Cindy Reveal, Sara Tompkins, Andy Tompkins, Tyler Fort, Arica Fort and Nathan McGuire.
Due to the increase Covid cases, masks are requested to be worn and social distancing guidelines observed.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the American Legion Post #152 Honor Guard or the Pike County Animal Shelter.
