He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus A. Rathgeb and Lucille A. "Pat" Rathgeb; and his brother-in-law Carl Biermann. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Mike (Melinda Rathgeb), Chris (Sally Rathgeb) and Nick (Alicia Rathgeb); his grandchildren, Logan, Livia, Gabrielle, Greyson, Chase, Piper, Anna, Ben, Jake and Max; his siblings-in-law, Peg Biermann of Brighton, Janet, Don Werts of Brighton, Barb and David Pranger of Brighton; and his siblings, Mandy Rathgeb of Brighton and Chrysler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
