She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Walter and Theo Mary Stults (Fowler); and her husband Joseph McCarnes. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Richardson (Larry) of Fairfield Glade, Laurie Stanton (Chip) of Petersburg and Diane Gatto (Tom) of Earlville, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amy Keeling (Dennis) of Kingston, Wendy Arenz (Dave) of Crestview, Christine Lehnen (Trevor) of Chatham, Marianne Gross (Dave) of Normal, Scott Stanton of San Antonio, Joe Gatto (Heather) of Anamosa and Carrie Mulligan (Stephen) of Spring Hill, Tennessee; her stepgrandchildren, Darin Richardson (Shelle) and Kris Dashler (Phil); and her cousins, Erma Jean Smallwood of Monmouth and Eleanor McClelland of Iowa City. She is also survived by five step-great grandchildren, and five step-great-great grandchildren.
