He is survived by: his wife Lois Thomson; his children, Rachel Lombardo (Michael) of Wildwood, MO and Joseph G.; his grandchildren, Joseph K. Spivey and Samantha Lombardo; and his half-sister Patricia Hunter of North Carolina.
